  Are Converse Good For Lifting | Facts You Should Know? A lot of people ask if converse are a good choice for lifting.   Why do people want to know if converse are a good choice for lifting? Probably because they want to keep their feet as comfortable as possible. But that may not be the only reason people ask this question.   If you are doing Olympic style lifts, then converse may not be the best choice for you. In Olympic lifting, you receive the barbell from a rack over your head.
